    Tea Party gets a boost with Joe Miller’s victory in Alaska

    USA TODAY  “University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato joked in a Twitter post last night that if all the Tea Party faves get elected to the Senate, then Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell might need “a case of extra-strength Excedrin.”
    Perhaps what all of Congress might consider getting is an education on the founding fathers’ belief in small government, individual rights and privacy rights.

    World Bank says Population Growth, Climate Change Demand Better Water Management

    Voice of America  Here it comes folks.  The Freedom movement has been telling us that water was the next thing the global elite were going to go after and that time has come.  “A soaring world population, climate change and greater demands for food are placing greater demands on the planet’s water resources.  The World Bank says the best way to address those issues is to have better information and a more integrated approach to water management.”

    Eminent domain lawsuit proceeds

    Billings Gazette  I told you about this case in the previous blog.  The good news is the state of Wyoming’s legal effort to take property from a Natrona County couple for road construction can proceed to trial, a judge ruled Monday.  So either the judge is one of the few left who is not a social justice judge or the facts were too egregious to try to sneak by them.  We shall see.

    Scientist’s Firing After 36 Years Fuels ‘PC’ Debate at UCLA

    Fox News  “A longtime professor at UCLA, told that he would not be rehired because his “research is not aligned with the academic mission” of his department, says he’s being fired after 36 years at the prestigious school because his scientific beliefs are ”politically incorrect.”  While this might seem an “iffy” piece for this blog, it is very pertinent.  For decades the scientific community has been marching to the politically correct drummer rather than following the proper procedures for scientific inquiry.  Peer review has become a joke and “popular scientific belief” has become the new standard.
